A couple of historic aircraft that were flying at Dunkeswell airfield today.

This aircraft, a 1942 Boeing B75N1 Stearman was flying wing walkers



This one is a De Havilland DH.85 Leopard Moth from 1934.

I have the week off and as it was another beautiful August day I rode a loop out to Dunkeswell aerodrome this morning, avoiding the worst of the sun/heat. Time's marching on and it's only about 10weeks until the next Owston get together so we'll have to start thinking about what to bring.

I would like to bring my DSD Valve DAC and perhaps my SissySIT amplifier.

I've also got a pair of Mission floorstanders for Steve (Cressy Snr) to deliver.

Cheers Nick. I've not done simulations before but I guess learning to do it is kind of inevitable. I guess installing LT Spice is the starting point.

Today I finished installing and testing the last of the supporting circuits so I'm now ready to hook-up the actual DAC board and start checking it out. The final item today was to assemble and test the DSD rate indicator board, which will eventually find its way onto the front panel - checked it out...

Yes, it's a great time of year and ideal weather for open air performances, warm enough to be able to relax and the Sun sets early enough to get some after dark atmosphere... It's great that these events are happening again.
