Ha, your colleague misinformed you. Just like an ICE automatic, it has a brake pedal but no clutch pedal.

Re: Nothing In Particular

Bloody petrol queues! Grrrrrrr, daughter missed her train to work and an important meeting due to selfish gits blocking the road for petrol. The whole panic buying mentality is making my blood boil….and breath…. Social media and the media have a lot to answer for. Yep, it does show that any expecte...

Re: picoreplayer

Spotify is supposed to be going lossless before the end of the year. I’ve recently opened a Spotify account because I can stream it in the car and I like it a lot. Also very handy for casual everyday listening in the house. Still use Qobuz with Roon on the main system, though.

Thank you all for the kind words. At present I know nothing more and Alison and the family have requested space to themselves for the time being. If I hear anything more, such as an online book of condolence, I will post details here.

Our friend Nick Baker

I’m sure several members will know Nigel’s (vinylspinner) and my very close friend, Nick (little fella with no hair) who came (once with a Devialet amp) to several Owston’s with us. I am sad to pass on the news that Nick died earlier today. He was only 66. He suffered a massive brain haemorrhage at ...

Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

I’ve floored it only once, showing off to my son. I bottled it hitting 90 in such a short time and distance on a damp road, it frightened me! Spec for the Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor Long Range is 0-62 in 4.4secs, top speed 145mph, power 324kW/434hp which calculates as 428bhp. No, I never use all the p...
