The junction here, TA2 7SG, for example. I approach from the North but traffic from west just keeps on coming even after I get an amber light. But it happens everywhere.

An amber gambler certainly breaches the Highway Code, but the code is not law. To commit an offence under the Road Traffic Act, you have to drive through a red light. The amber gamblers I'm talking about are the drivers who accelerate when they see an amber in front of them; their gamble is whether...

On the subject of road traffic policing, I'm surprised that no politician has yet suggested tapping into the easy revenue stream to be had from amber gamblers.
