How best to shift an Opera vinyl collection?
#1 How best to shift an Opera vinyl collection?
Evening i have been asked how to sell / dispose of a collection of vinyl records. A life's work of an Opera buff, lots of Jussi Bjorling, good stuff. The man hours and love that went into it, ah well, we all end as dust, perhaps too our collections

It's not an easy one to answer , it's a lot easier to find dealers that understand rock/pop/pink/soul, classical and opera is another matter.
If you are able to get a list together, including the label type , then I have a friend who would like to take a look and might take some.
Alternatively I can ask him to give you a shortlist of artists or specific labels/eras.
If you are prepared to spend time on Discogs then you should be able to determine which ones are worth money.

Or just google Opera LP dealers uk and work through the list to look for a buyer.

I have used https://revolutions33.co.uk/ to buy and sell my father-in-laws collection items that I didn't want - as Greg mentions there are quite a few dealers who buy if google for them
