Saw her at Sheffield City Hall around 2000 with Edwin Starr, Martha Reeves and Freda Payne. The four of them used to do an annual tour for us soulies, playing all the Motown hits of the 60s. Great times. She was a lovely woman.

That's a shame, and it seems to have been very sudden. She was a class act, like many from that scene.
