Getting a few jobs done this morning. 
Took the old cooker to the tip, replaced the heater fan resistor on the van, and fitted the Triumph battery + oiled the chain.
If it's still nice after lunch might go for a blast.
Is your Guzzi still on the road Mike ?

Three weeks on from my shoulder operation, i'm finally rid of the arm sling.
Just have to get the arm working again. Lots of exercise and pain will apparently sort it out.
Thank God for physiotherapy; it would seem an impossible task otherwise.
Another month off work at least, is what they reckon.
Not what a self employed person wants to hear..
Will the wife be able to put up with me?
Quite fancy a few days in a nice hotel, but so many appointments to keep. For now a weekend break will have to do.

Yorkshire border patrol have received a tip off (from anony mouse) that an Essex (nearly Suffolk) couple, wanted for offences under the breadboard construction act of 1998, are making their way towards the Bradford area this afternoon.
If spotted, please do not approach as the man is known to be danger mouse.

That's pretty much what I had done.
Bone scraping.
Tendon repair.
Muscles pinned back in place.
I've got most of the range of movement back, but only with the assistance of the other arm.
Will be some time before I can move the right arm fully independently.
Feel like progress is being made though.
Need to get back to work soon, but it seems unlikely.

My spare pair of GK-71 came yesterday, quite quick considering they came from near Bucharest.
Off out to Alnwick in Northumbria this morning, taking a few warm clothes in the car.

Yup - she had the bone scrape, a bit of cuff repair and a couple of bone spurs chiselled off. An orthopaedic surgeon friend of ours described his job as "essentially carpentry", his tools being saws, chisels, hammers, drills, screws etc.al newall wrote:That's pretty much what I had done.

SWMBO is not finding it easy either - the day after a physio session she's in real pain, this means she can't sleep which also doesn't help - there's just so long you can take the pain killers & anti-inflammatories...
