<div align="center">

NOT <div class="centre">

The fact that I have got .centre { text-align: center } still does not make it XHTML1 Transitional compatible (for centring things that are not mere text that is)

Have just spent 2.5 hours trying to find two capacitors.

Must be around here somewhere but do you think I can find them?

As things always seem to be where you would least expect, try looking there first ?

My late wife (bless her soul) always said "sit down, and have a quiet think about when you last used them ". It often works thy knows lad !

You bet they're dangerous.

<Australian accent> Once, I was out camping. One came up... And swallowed me whole. I had to fight me way out with a yoghurt spoon. </Aussie accent>

Hard to imagine a snale's creation, mind.

I often find that, given a week, the component I was looking for will transport itself to an obvious place, like on my desk.

The problem is that, in looking for something, you move everything.

I've always found that when I buy replacements the original always turns up.

The conclusion:

Buy some new ones, so they'll be here by next week-end. That way, it's certain you'll have found the originals.

Almost certainly!

Ah-hah! Mystery deepens. Sort of

One of the 2 x 4.7uF's I'm looking for (found the other), turns out I put it in me Aurora amp (just the one) - OK that accounts for the 4.7uF's

Still doesn't account for the 2 x 6.8's, which I'd scavenged from where they'd been unused since last year, but for what purpose, mind's a complete blank.

Do remember unsoldering them, after that, nuffink

Oh-kay, mystery solved ~ in fact if you go back to the first post in this thread, it tells you all about it.

The 6.8's ended up in me phono pre. So the reason why I can't find any of these things in various umpteen shelves, polythene bags, boxes and cupboards is cos actually, they're installed in equipment.

DOH!!

Yeah my memory is that crap . . .

That's alright then, I can stop searching now Image

Typing in the dark again. The damn L key is just so close to the K.

I took Grade 11 math instead of grade 10 typing (who needs to know how to type i said to myself)....
