YGMV - You Got My Vote?

Anyway, it's good to see Audio-Talk CC back on the road again - good efforts all round.

Yep - good efforts folks...

I have seen the consultant about my knee - op will be in a few weeks but no cycling until next year :(

On another point, regarding John Kelly on the Wainwrights, enormously impressive in this heat.

There's a bit of grumbling about Wainwright's name been associated with this as he was pretty anti this sort of event - yes, the peaks are in his list, but many doubt he would have approved...

Aha! But currently Scobs is SS, I haven't got the strength to go far on Phixczt yet. Little steps.

Yeah. That B17 is lovely, I rescued and rebuilt it a good while ago, still going strong.

What's all this about 'YGMV'? I'm lost innits.

Oh no, he wouldn't have approved, that's for sure.

Meanwhile John Kelly had to give up early this afternoon.
The clip of him lying in a river in the morning sums it up :

Meanwhile, after a very wet morning I headed out for a long'un this afternoon - just shy of 41miles and 3000ft of climbing for those who need a translation.

Maximum gradient was 16%, phew!

Still, it was my first attempt at riding for months...

Looking at Sabrina Verjee's data, 523km in under 6 days with 36,000mtrs of ascent.

Just the vertical ascent part is equivalent to climbing 164,000 stair steps.

Scary
