Thanks – funny thing, it kind of is already, insofar that's the retro style that everyone is going for at the mo. My AJS Cadwell has almost identical styling!

The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Later that day he repeated the feat, but this time with 3-furrow plough attached . . . . .

Wow, hats off to his machine control skills.

I'd never be able to remember a course that long.

Ah, impressive certainly, but very much an 'American thing', that sort of exercise. They have competitions, hence the above. I can hear the crash bars dragging on the tarmac. To me that's not advisble, that's how you can lift a wheel, and then you're off. So not practical in real road situations, just IMHO. Seen a fewl YouTube videos of guys stacking it by grounding out a big bike like that in a tight bend.

It's very nice. Actually it's really nice. My first ride impressions are:
Very Japanese like gear change, very slick.
Feather-light clutch. And so is the throttle. Jeez I need to watch it with the throttle, compared to the Ural and the Cadwell – 60 mph is so easy!

The clutch is nicely progressive, no snatchiness, no 'on – off'. The engine is very smooth – just a bit of a tremor to let you know something is happening, but couldn't be described as vibration. At slow speed, just off throttle, no lurching, hopping, spitting or anything like that. Just works. The brakes were vague at first but then were new unused pads of course. About halfway to Boston the brakes were coming on more strongly. At it is at the moment, the front is plenty grabby enough for me now. My one niggle is the gear pedal needs lowering a bit. Headlight is a bulb, looks like an H4, ditto park light is a bulb, but all else are LED's. The headlight only comes on after engine is started, thus helping battery during a cold start. (My Piaggio X10 also did this.)

The colour is grey, with just a hint of metallic in it. Very classy finish actually. The seat is brown leather.

It feels small and light, and once rolling the balance is very good. Ergonomics very good. Lovely wide seat. And it sounds fantastic, almost like a Spitfire!

I is a happy bunny! Image
