I think he did that with his first post?

I suppose he thinks he's a big cheese on that forum !
I have 3 turntables i listen to,idler (401),DD (Yamaha YP-D7) and belt drive (based on Logic DM-101) and i would not condemn any of them although to be honest i probably use the Yamaha most.
I have seen some of Stuarts rants on head hi-fi before and it makes me wonder why he feels the need to be so vociferous with his views.
It's as if we are not allowed to think we know what we like.I'm all for putting an alternate point of view, but not preaching !!

That he listens via a Pickering XV15 tells me all I need to know. Yes it's great value but.....
I note that he's not been waxing lyrical about the Pickering 7500 he recently bought. That is a decent cartridge. Can his ears detect the difference? Maybe he needs a slate plinth for his Kenwood mixer.

yes but haven't you heard, he's an ideas man, what you do is you replace the polythene block with hardwood, then get expert stylus to make you a new cantilever, retip it and it's a giant killer,Clive wrote:

"There is no substitute for research and if at all possible listen to a few vinyl rigs first before buying anything"
must listen to some vinyll rigs before my trip to Asda
so who refused the shootout in Spain
