cor...I wuz there!
I listened to caroline and london about 50-50....was angry when the jamming started...I spent hours fiddling with my mums JVC NIvico transistor radio, wrapping silver foil around the ferrite aerial to try and minimise the interference...it was v.frustrating but I was dogged(careful how you pronounce that). Then we moved on to north see international which was also Ronan O'Reilly(spelling) I beleive...then there was the loving awareness thing with the band that had one of my all time heros: Norman Watt Roy, also of 'greatest show on earth' and the blockheads and more recently Wilko Johnson.....

have I bored you yet!

The Alan Yentob documentary ‘Imagine - Labi Siffre: This Is My Song’ (BBC1) broadcast on 14/2/22 was a brilliant, moving and great insight into the man, his music and his philosophy. Well worth a look on the iPlayer.
