#1 Coral 10CX-501

Post by Nicky »

Hi folks,
I was able to pick up these drivers, Coral 10CX-501, for 5 Canadian dollars. Thay seem to be in quite good shape and I'm wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with these drivers. Are they worth investing some time to build proper enclosures for them. They came with the enclosures but I would prefer to tap into any potential that a good enclosure design may hold for them. On that note can anyone suggest a properly designed enclosure for them.

Thanks
Will

Thanks Will,
I saw those plans as well. Thought others may have ideas for newer designs as those are quite dated. Having said that, are you able to determine the depth and width of the port from that design ie. measurements for "g" "h" and "i". I was having difficulty figuring it out.
Thanks

Maybe if you look up the plans for the Beta and Flat series and compare them to the CX-501 plans.
