Thanks Ray, yes I was looking at some of the diyAudio topic last night (but big thread! So didn't read it all) and I did pick up on the jlsounds board. Alright you've convinced me. How do you want to proceed (PM me) ...?

(Off the top of my head I have 4 or 5 other 'works in progress', all of which are continuously evolving but at a glacial speed, so can't guarantee it'll be done quick)

Mike,
What you really want to build is a big pair of speakers

It was good to see everyone again, and thanks to Steve for hosting. I hope there'll be something organised for next year. Gives me an excuse to cook up some more speakers.

Let's see what next year brings...
But 1st I'm waiting for the updated prices for the room, they are planning to add charges for room hire, before I even think about next years
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Thanks Steve. I would happily pay a bit more to cover any room charge.

I would also happily organise an event next year but I doubt it would be very popular down here - most of you lot probably don't even have passports to get out of Yorkshire.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Agreed!

I would travel further though. Merseysiders need passports to leave the area too.

That was me, it was 'Tilted'. I think Chris played another one later in the afternoon, possibly 'iT' - both are on the album 'Chaleur Humaine'.

Thanks Ray. I'd forgotten all about it until hearing her on Radio 6 Music earlier and then couldn't remember which track.

(As I'd added your music selection to the photos I should probably have remembered, but my memory's not so good at the moment.)

I played "No Harm Is Done", but in hindsight, "Tilted" is the better demo - the extra layers as the song goes along IMO makes it a more interesting piece of music.
