#1 Project Cull - 3A5 preamp

Post by Ray P »

Anyone fancy a DHT preamp project? I have two fully-populated Bartola 'Gyrator' boards and 4x 3A5 NOS valves that I'm realistically never going to get round to building into a preamp. To complete it you'll need a suitable CRC B+ supply and some filament supplies (Coleman or Andrew L's are recommended). There's some info here;

https://www.bartola.co.uk/valves/2016/0 ... h-3a5-dht/

https://www.bartola.co.uk/valves/for-sale/gyrator-pcb/

And there's a build thread here, though the guy gets confused about the biasing approach...

Yours for £10 plus postage at cost.

If anyone is interested I can take some pictures if it would help.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Too good to leave behind Ray, I'll have them :-). If you let me know the postage I'll transfer some funds.

Can you remember which bits of sand you used in the gyrators?

Sounds good Simon. I'll find a box and get a postage cost. The Gyrator boards are Rev 5. Picture attached. I'll have a look round as see if I have any other bits and pieces that might be useful.

Thanks Ray. Yeah, if there was a BOM or similar from Ale that would be really helpful.

I don't have specific info as I was just referencing Ale's website but I know he's helpful and I'm sure he'll be able to oblige.
